Carnivore

The Dragon is hungry so ya'll better watch out.

She just marched up to me and said,

"Tonight for dinner I'd like a bone of meat."

I think she means chicken legs.

A Headache

The Dragon is not feeling very well this morning. She's been complaining of a headache. At one point, she wandered over to me and I placed my hand on her forehead to check for a fever. She grabbed my hand and pressed it as hard as she could against her head.

"Feel it, Mommy? Feel my headache?"

She was so sad that I couldn't feel it. But the headache is now confirmed as far as I am concerned. The pressure of my hand against the spot that it hurts made it feel a little better. Poor thing. I'm going to try and convince her to take some Tylenol, but she is insisting that she doesn't need it.

Here's hoping it is just a headache and nothing more.

Things I Love About The Purple Dragon

The Purple Dragon is still our happy-go-lucky kid. I've noticed that her tantrums have been increasing a little bit, but it is still rather easy to calm her down and get her back on track. She still is crushed whenever somebody tells her that she can't do something - and usually the reason someone asks her to stop is because it is getting annoying - rather than her doing something bad.

She is looking forward to her 5th birthday and will proudly tell people that she is 4-and-three-quarters years old.

She is still obsessed with dragons and puppies, and is almost always singing a song. She loves playing with her big sister and will play almost any game that The Pink Princess makes up - as long as she can be a dog or a dragon, that is!

She loves hugs and kisses, and doesn't mind snuggling if you will let her.

I love her so much and I am glad she is a part of our family.
